Matt grew up in Salem, OR and embraces the outdoor lifestyle native Oregonians have come to enjoy.  Although he spent time living in both Chicago and NYC, the Pacific Northwest has always been considered home.  While completing his MBA + graduate certificate in real estate development at night he was selling residential real estate by day and happened to meet Peter Bouman, whose license was hung at the same brokerage. Licensed since 2010, Matt joined forces with Peter at Oregon Vineyard Property in 2014 and has been helping clients throughout the Willamette Valley and Columbia River Gorge achieve their goals ever since.  Matt’s focused passions for real estate and winemaking are a perfect complement to selling vineyard and winery properties.  In 2022 Matt and his wife Amy started a small wine label, Denouement Wines, providing Matt an intimate knowledge of the wine business.  He has developed an extensive network of industry contacts seeking to acquire or sell vineyards and wine production facilities as well as viticulturalists, soil scientists and other professionals critical in the due diligence process.  As a knowledgeable client advocate, he is a great resource for those planning their next move in the Oregon wine industry.

Peter Bouman, April 3, 1961 – November 3, 2022

Broker Emeritus

Founder of Oregon Vineyard Property

Peter was an integral part of the Oregon wine community for many years and will always be remembered for his integrity, good-natured attitude, passion for viticulture and winemaking and his ability to connect with people from all walks of life with ease and grace.

Peter established Oregon Vineyard Property in 1997, and for 25 years specialized in marketing vineyard and winery properties, and helping buyers and investors locate prime vineyard land to grow and make the World Class wines that Oregon has become known for. Peter was highly involved in various facets of the Oregon Wine Industry including winemaking and sales. In 2016 he started his own wine label called Vino Tintoque which featured the lesser known grapes being grown in the Pacific Northwest. These experiences helped Peter develop a comprehensive network of individuals from across the wine industry, many who worked with Peter became dear friends.
